Round by Wynyard Station are a pair of Mercedes over 20 years old, articulated 2551 (MO2551) and rigid 2306 (MO2306). Both have the standard PMC Galvastress bodies.

August 2004 and an unidentified Mercedes O305 is seen leaving Balmain. It is passing the highly recommended Monkey Bar, though one might hesitate before recommending the "New Beer of the Week", at least until finding out who or what Scharer might be.

August 2009 and large numbers of withdrawn Mercedes O305 and articulated O305Gs are lined up for disposal at the former Tempe depot.

Hoards of withdrawn Mercedes O305 buses at Tempe, some with sold stickers in their windscreens. The former depot was home at the time to the Sydney Bus Museum, which was having Health & Safety issues over the number of emergency exits. The site was also due to open again as an operational depot as the base for one of the new cross city Metrobus routes.
