Seen against the smoke laden city skies in January 2020, following the devastating Victorian bush fires is 2013 Volgren SC222 bodied Volvo B7R 54 (9482AO). By 2020 the Nuline blue livery was widespread. The coach, with body built at the ill-fated Tomago plant in NSW, is seen heading towards North Melbourne.

Taking a rest from its rail work near Caufield Station was 8 (7808AO), a 2009 Custom SB400 bodied Volvo B7R, seen in April 2019.

To cope with the demand for rail repleacement vehicles, in common with many other Victorian operators, Nuline took advantage of the availability of the large numbers on Volgren bodied Mercedes O405NH surplus to requirements in Perth. However this 1998 O405NH with its CR221L body was acquired from Moonee Valley Coaches, where it was 67 (2267AO). It kept the rego with Nuline, becoming their 77. In January 2019 it is seen on rail replacement work at Dandenong.

Half a dozen Transperth Mercedes with the CR225L body joined the fleet for 2019 rail work, 82 (BS04EZ) got painted in fleet livery and is seen crossing the Yarra on Hoddle Bridge on rail work as early as the beginning of December 2018. In Perth this was 1142 (TP1142).
