Caramar Bus Lines
Caramar Bus Lines depot
A visit to Caramar Bus Lines in March 2014 found most of the operational fleet nose in at the depot shed. Several minibuses of varying sizes can be seen. Secondhand full sized vehicles favoured Mercedes, but recent new purchases had been King Long integrals and one on a MAN 18.290. The rear of a King Long can be seen.

Caramar Mercedes OH1316 Ansair WNS207
A trio of Ryan Brothers' older Mercedes OH1316 with Ansair bodies ended up with Caramar in Millicent. Sadly they had reached the end of the road there by March 2014 and were up for sale, $6500 seemed to be the going rate. This is former Ryan 19 (CSQ073), rego WNS207 in SA.

Caramar Mercedes OH1316 Ansair WRJ813
Forward nearly twelve years to January 2026 and 30,000 photos later and WRJ813 was still languishing in the depot unsold! At least one other of the Ryan buses remained.

Caramar MAN 22.321 GBW WTW211
A new arrival - jst before COVID in 2020 was ex Bathurst Buslines 41 (TV1503), a 1989 GBW bodied MAN 22.321. The formidable looking coach gained SA rego WTW211, and maybe a lick of paint, but is not thought to have seen service with Caramar.

Caramar Leyland Worldmaster Custom WHV402
Another vehicle put out to grass was this Leyland Worldmaster ex Moores of Carss who had the ex Sydney/UTA 3056 rebodied by Custom Coaches in 1987 and re-registered MO7644. Moores christened it "Pud's Price". It came to Caramar around 2013, gaining SA rego WHV402.

Caramar Denning Denair WEH698
Yet another vehicle languishing in the yard was this Denning Denair, WEH698, new as TV357 with Leslie's Coaches of Doonside in 1982. It later servded with two Toowoomba operators before reaching SA. The livery suggests it saw service with Caramar, though it is thought the last time it was used was 2013!

Caramar Mercedes 814D Alan B Denning Vario WAE631 King Long 6102AU SB15FU
As before the active fleet was housed in the shed, though judging by the weeds this pair may have been inactive for a while. It was school summer holidays but the lack of rain suggested the weeds had been there for a while. The A B Denning Vario bodied Mercedes 814D, WAE631 was new to Mount Gambier operator Brown in 1997 and joined Caramar in 2009. The King Long 6102AU, SB15FU was new in 2016 to Caramar.
